Thank you for visiting our church website! We hope to answer many of the questions you have about Metro and help you get to know who we are.
Here is a short summary of who we are:
We are a diverse family of believers. We are a small groups church. Yes, we are a big church, but we believe the Bible calls us to have close relationships with fellow Christians to help one another and to advance His kingdom. We do this though small groups.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Act 2:42-47. (NIV)
Together, we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need. We want to win the world for Christ, beginning in our own community.
We are a non-denominational church that began with just seven people in 1987. We have roots in the Restoration Movement, but have members from over a dozen different religious backgrounds.
We offer many different Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes and have serving opportunities available to help you grow spiritually.
